We are currently seeking on behalf of our client, a well-established Accounting and Auditing Services firm with a wide portfolio of corporate clients, an Assistant Accountant  based in Athens.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounting Specialist located in Athens. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting services to corporate clients, ensuring accuracy and delivering exceptional client service. Daily responsibilities include analyzing financial data, managing accounts, preparing reports, and maintaining regular communication with clients. The role requires collaboration with the team to deliver effective solutions and maintain client satisfaction.

Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Economics/Business Administration/Finance or related field
• Relevant experience in double entry accounting
• Excellent Knowledge of MS Office, Excel
• Good knowledge of English
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations in Greece is definitely a plus
